Things that go Bump! on the Ice

I'm still working on back stroking; improving my power, my fear, and my edging. Miss Bianca is rather bored by the whole thing, but makes the best of it by finding even more tedious things for me to fix.

Well, I did ask for it.
Anyway, I've noticed that when I'm skating backwards, I'm excessively concerned (obsessed) with the bumpiness of the ice. When I'm going forward it feels like this:
Glassy smooth
When I'm going backwards it feels like this:
Every ice scrape is a boulder!

So I'm skating along, my face frozen in concentration, focus...focus....focus... then BUMP!
Sorta like this.
Anyway, Miss Bianca set a goal for me to glide on one foot backwards to a count of 6,

"What animal do you use to count? I use woodchucks. One woodchuck. Two woodchuck. But if you want to count one elk, two elk, I'm okay with that."

Miss Bianca gave me an evil grin. "I count One Banana, two banana."

She couldn't settle for One Orange, two orange?  'Cause that last 'na' in banana seems to take forever to get there!
