When the Zam Breaks down after a Hockey Game but before public skate (Updated)

It was too rough for even just lap skating with out annoying my sharpener.

Thanks to Gold Skater for taking the video and running the risk of ruining her blades. She told me not to even bother putting my boots on.

    1. I wish I knew. I saw the manager but didn't think to ask him. Why would any hockey coach let kids in shoes get on the ice? It's a mystery.

  3. I agree--not worth the time or the money to skate on this surface--but, at least you have ice. My rink traditionally closes for annual maintenance during the months of May and June. This year they're still not open due to a major equipment failure a few days before the anticipated July 8th reopening. We'll be lucky to skate on home ice by the 1st of August. 'Tis the summer of my discontent.
